you looked at me in barely-veiled confusion. "what?" you inquired, repeated.

"i am dying."

"bullshit." you didn't believe me.

i barely believed myself.

your anger was to hide your fear, and your rage at me even thinking of succumbing to death. (though i suppose anger & rage could be considered the same.) however, "everyone dies."

"not us. we are young. we are immortal."
